Assistant or Associate Professor in Prevention and Community Health (Community Based Health Promotion)

The Department of Prevention and Community Health in the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University seeks a full-time tenure-track or tenured Assistant or Associate Professor expertise in community-based health promotion to serve as a faculty member within the Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) MPH program. The successful candidate will pursue a vibrant, externally funded research program in areas at the intersection of clinical care and health promotion, will teach at the graduate level, and mentor and advise graduate students. Areas of particular interest to the Department include the use of community-based innovative prevention research at the intersection of any of the following areas: community-based participatory research, primary care, health disparities, engaging health systems in addressing the social determinants health, community medicine, family medicine, health care for the underserved and/or immigrant health.
