Consortium Comments to HHS on “Draft Report on Pain Management Best Practices: Updates, Gaps, Inconsistencies, and Recommendations”

This morning the Consortium submitted comments and recommendations to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) after a thorough review of the “Draft Report on Pain Management Best Practices: Updates, Gaps, Inconsistencies, and Recommendations”. The Consortium commended the committee’s inclusion of nonpharmacologic and conventional therapies to achieve optimal comprehensive pain care while making specific recommendations that would strengthen the document and improve care.
