The Chopra Institute’s goal is to make integrative health and wellness accessible to ALL communities. The Institute will work to incorporate current research and best practices on integrative health into mainstream medicine, striving to be the conduit for all stakeholders working on integrative health (academic researchers, medical schools, technology trailblazers, health and wellness experts).

To achieve this bold vision, the Institute will forge robust partnerships with thought leaders and innovators in the field of integrative health, working closely with these partners to help bring attention to their existing work, create new proof points where they are needed, and disseminate these efforts to a wider audience. The Institute will also partner with pioneering medical schools who have outstanding integrative health curricula with the goal of creating a standardized integrative health curriculum that can be implemented at all major medical schools.

The Executive Director (ED) of The Chopra Institute will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of success and a desire to build and lead a critical, dynamic, and innovative Institute focused on developing and disseminating integrative health knowledge and practice to the world. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will oversee all aspects of the initiative’s work, including execution of organizational strategies and oversight of the strategic, fundraising, programmatic, human resources, and financial operations. The ED serves as the Chopra Institute’s primary representative in national and international forums and will be a change agent within the global health community, collecting and sharing novel approaches to cross-cutting priorities and championing the awareness of integrative health and its impact on people.
